Cases of numerous commodities have been reported this month, especially spices, meat and eggs.

After four years of taking care of the Food Fraud Monthly Report, this will be the last newsletter I will be sending myself, but rest assured the JRC Unit F.4 will guarantee business continuity with other colleagues. When I took over the task, this newsletter was a simple email sent mostly to internal colleagues, whereas now the Food Fraud Monthly Report community has reached the milestone of 5000 subscribers. I want to thank you for the trust and support you provide the JRC with: it was an honour to be part of the food fraud and food safety community worldwide, forged by motivated professionals who believe in the mission of safeguarding the global food supply chains.
