As countries ease lockdown measures of COVID-19 pandemic, a new set of challenges emerge for food production, processing and logistics of supply chains. Some of these can become opportunities for growth, provided policy makers and value chain operators can adapt accordingly. Countries need practical solutions to mitigate COVID-19 impacts and to the grab new opportunities that emerge in a range of issues, including food supply, food and nutrition security, and trade and markets.

Through this webinar, FAO is providing a platform for sharing information among countries and stakeholders on addressing COVID-19 impacts and challenges in the food and agriculture sector in Europe and Central Asia.
