International Cooperation Expo (EXCO2019) is the first international exhibition of development cooperation organised under the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the European Commission and the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation. It will take place simultaneously with the annual meeting of all the Development Cooperation Agencies of the European Union member States in Rome, Italy. During EXCO2019 the European Commission will announce the 2021-2027 development funds and agenda.

“EXCO2019 will seek to link all actors, giving the private sector centre-stage, and will be launched and hosted in Rome, the third global hub for UN based agencies such as FAO, WFP, IFAD as they are essential for the sustainable future of food systems (as well as WB, UNHCR, UNDESA, ILO and UNIDO), thus providing the perfect backdrop to promote the SDGs that will be at the heart of the expo.”

The objective of the International Cooperation Expo (EXCO2019) on “Job Creation and Innovation for Sustainable Development” is to put development actors and enterprises in touch with financial institutions, government representatives, development agencies and international organizations, in order to set the foundations for the establishment of new business relationships aimed at creating partnerships to find solutions for sustainable development.
