The Commissioner Piebalgs visits Slovenia to promote development policy and participate in the 2nd Slovenian Development Days
Today, 15 October, Commissioner Piebalgs is in Slovenia to promote development policy and address the audience of the 2nd edition of the Slovenian Development Days in Ljubljana.
He will hold bilateral meetings with the President of Slovenia, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Finance and the State Secretary of Foreign Affairs. The Commissioner will also meet with the vice-president of the National Assembly and the members of the Committee on Foreign Policy. He will also meet with representatives of the National Platform of NGO SLOGA. Explaining the Commission's priorities of the upcoming months, engaging Slovenia in collective EU efforts towards reaching the Official Development Assistance commitments and other development issues will be discussed during his visit in Ljubljana.
