99 new Italian authorities in IMI 99 new Italian authorities in IMI

Italy has registered 99 additional authorities in IMI for the new legislative area of posting of workers. The authorities are labour offices who operate at the level of the Italian provinces (Direzioni Provinciali del Lavoro). Representatives of the authorities were trained in how to use IMI during a two day event organised in Rome on 20 and 21 September 2011, in the framework of the current pilot project for IMI and the Posting of Workers Directive.

New IMI directory of registers New IMI directory of registers

If you have access to IMI, you can now use it to find registers kept by authorities anywhere in the EU. The IMI registers directory shows you, in your own language, information about the register content, access conditions and the register owner. If the register is available online, you will find a direct link. The directory already lists more than 1000 registers, such as the Austrian register of lawyers and the Swedish trade and industry register.

If your authority keeps a register in which service providers are entered or indeed any other register that may be relevant for your cooperation with other authorities, add it to IMI! A tutorialFLASH explains how to add and find registers.
