The Access City Award is the european prize for making cities more accessible to people with disabilities and older people. Luxembourg special mention for public facilities and services of the Access City Award 2015: 'Luxembourg City has launched numerous initiatives to improve accessibility in public spaces including installation of audio signals at traffic lights, sidewalks amenities , toilets adapted for people with special needs, accessibility at specific events and arrangements for people with hearing impairments'.
