ESSnet Validat Integration Regional Conferences on the implementation of new tools and services for data validation in the ESS
During 11-12 January 2017 about 30 participants from 13 Member States and Eurostat participated in the ESSnet “ValiDat Integration” regional conference in The Hague during which the ESSnet presented its results, such as the Methodological Handbook for ESS Validation, a Standard Validation Report and a Cost/Benefit model for Business Architecture for ESS Validation. Eurostat presented common tools and services fostering an ESS-wide implementation, including the common validation language and a structural and content validation service.
During the highly interactive conference statistical authorities (including also a Central Bank and a Chemicals Agency) discussed the implementation of these deliverables, focusing on methodological and technical issues and on their impact on national practices. The conference forms part of a series of four regional conferences, the first held in Lisbon, and two more to take place in Vilnius (01-02.02.2018) and Belgrade (22-23.02.2018.
