Term
Acceptance burden
Term extension
Statistical methodologies
Definition
Allowable level of response burden created e.g. by increasing nonresponse rates, which has a positive effect on response burden.
Remark
To avoid such undesirable "rewards" and, consequently, a less alert attitude towards declining response rates, survey managers should be confronted with burden figures which include hypothetical non response burden as well.
