Ukraine: €3.4 billion of increased EU pre-financing to Member States welcoming refugees fleeing Ukraine
To support Member States welcoming and accommodating refugees fleeing the war in Ukraine, the European Commission proposed to increase by €3.4 billion the total pre-financing from the Recovery Assistance for Cohesion and the Territories of Europe (REACT-EU). More than 3 million Ukrainians had to flee their country following Russia's invasion, this number is growing by the day.

REACT-EU: €12 million of additional resources for the recovery in Germany
The European Commission has granted additional €12 million to the European Social Fund (ESF) programme in Bavaria. It will support people most impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic by funding projects related with teaching, child-care education, professional training as well as innovative measures for small and medium businesses (SME).

“Kohesio” the new online platform that gathers information from million projects financed by EU funds
The European Commission has launched Kohesio: a public online platform that in few clicks allows to discover exactly how the EU invests in regions and cities. Kohesio gathers information on more than 1.5 million projects financed since 2014 in all 27 EU countries.

Ukraine: Cohesion funding to support people fleeing Russia's invasion of Ukraine
The European Commission has adopted a proposal for Cohesion's Action for Refugees in Europe (CARE) allowing Member States and regions to provide emergency support to people fleeing from Russia's invasion of Ukraine. CARE is introducing the necessary flexibility to allow a swift reallocation of available European funding to such emergency support.

European Globalisation Adjustment Fund: €2.8 million to support dismissed workers in the Spanish car industry
