Guidelines

  • Each image must have 72dpi resolution
  • Name of the image must be consistent with the image
  • Alt text must descriptive to fit to the WAI
  • Size of the image must be respected (see the sizes in the table below)

Formats

  • JPG should be used for photographs
  • PNG should be used for illustrations and pictures with transparency
  • SVG is strongly recommended to be used for vector pictures such as static infographics as there is no loss of quality
