The current and past 2 rounds of the harmonised European time use survey (HETUS) data collection have been carried out in the spirit of multi-national and multi-agency cooperation across the European Union, which continues today in the form of an informal ’gentlemen's agreement’.
The next round will be conducted under EU regulation 2019/1700 on a common framework for European statistics relating to persons and households, based on data at individual level collected from samples
