Back EU production of chocolate

3.7 million tonnes of chocolate were produced in the European Union (EU) in 2019. Germany, Italy and France were the main producers, accounting together for almost two-thirds (64%) of the total EU chocolate production in 2019. They were followed by the Netherlands with 9%, Belgium and Poland with 7% each.
