Vice-President M. Šefčovič opened the Christmas Bazar - traditional event organised for more than 30 years by Association "Femmes d´Europe". The Association, with about 1000 members mainly from EU member states, raises funds to finance small-scale humanitarian projects, particularly directed towards education, training and health for women and children living in poverty and social exclusion.
Borderless eGovernment Services for Europeans

Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič attended the Sixth Ministerial eGovernment Conference which was held in Poznan on 17 and 18 November 2011.
Within the conference entitled “Borderless eGovernment Services for Europeans”, the Vice-President took an active part in the round table on strategies for better interoperability between public administrations all over Europe to facilitate cross border services.
Conclusion statement on Commission Work programme 2012

In the conclusion statement (video) made by Vice President Maroš Šefčovič during the EP Plenary session with MEPs on Commission Work programme 2012 he called for need to bring EU back to growth, through finalising Single market and strengthening economic governance."Euro area integration must be done through the Community method which makes us stronger and more responsible" he highlighted.
