Commission Vice-President in charge of inter-institutional relations and administration M. Šefčovič attended the European Entrepreneurial Region Awards (EER) as one of main speakers of the ceremony held on Thursday, 11 February 2010 in the Committee of the Regions of the EU.

The new European Commission chaired by President Jose Manuel Barroso took up its duties on Wednesday, 10 February 2010. As a first working meeting in his new position, Commission Vice-President in charge of inter-institutional relations and administration Maroš Šefčovič visited the Committee of the Regions of the EU to meet a group of Members of this institution.
