Retour How do we travel in a world changed by COVID-19?

12 avril 2022

COVID-19 has changed much of the world around us, including how we travel. From the fear of flights to the increased appeal of travelling by car, the decrease in hotel stays, and much more, Eurostat explores in its podcast episode the realities of a world where people are afraid to be around each other.

The tourism episode launches the Eurostat podcast series called Stats in a Wrap, which looks at the world through the eyes of statistics. Its aim is to pick the most delicious morsels and striking flavours to provide insights into the unexpected, the quirky and downright peculiar perspectives that only the numbers can reveal.

The host Jonathan Elliott discusses the topic of travelling in a world changed by COVID-19 together with Eurostat’s tourism statistics expert Christophe Demunter, as well as Ulf Sonntag from the NIT.
