Access to high-speed digital infrastructure is a pre-requisite for an inclusive digital transformation. Common indicator 5 displays the number of homes (dwellings) that gained access to very high capacity internet networks through measures under the RRF, including 5G networks and gigabit speed.
Homes (dwellings) that previously had no or only slower access are shown.
The indicator contributes to pillar 2 (digital transformation) and pillar 4 (social and territorial cohesion).
This graph shows the number of additional dwellings with internet access provided via very high capacity networks. The data for Belgium could not be published due to ongoing data checks. This indicator is a stock indicator, which means that numbers are added cumulatively, and its values can only increase over time.
