De echte prijs van namaak

Namaak kan u duur komen te staan. Het is ook een ethische kwestie. Internationale misdaadorganisaties halen veel van hun inkomsten uit de verkoop van namaak. Voor hen is het een echte groeimarkt.

Namaak kan uw veiligheid en gezondheid in gevaar brengen. Wat kan criminelen uw veiligheid schelen? Als consument kunt u alleen maar verliezen bij namaak. Wat een koopje lijkt, blijkt later vaak weggegooid geld, want namaak is vrijwel altijd van mindere kwaliteit.

Ook als belastingplichtige verliezen we. Illegale producenten en handelaars betalen geen belastingen, wat betekent dat u meer moet betalen. De handel in namaak schaadt de Europese economie door bonafide ondernemingen te benadelen en innovatie tegen te houden.

Namaak is oneerlijke concurrentie met echte producten, wat veel banen in Europa in gevaar brengt. Daarvoor is maar één oplossing:

Zeg neen tegen namaak! Ga voor het origineel!

On 27 January 2014, in Rome, the European Commission Vice-President Tajani and the President of the Italian Senate, Pietro Grasso took the floor together with high representatives from Institutions, industry, traders and consumers associations and national authorities involved in the fight against fake goods.

During the conference, representatives from different Member States gave evidence of their efforts to fight counterfeiting, as well as of the impact of the European Commission "Stop fakes" awareness campaign in their country.
