PES Network’s latest ‘Benchlearning’ cycle: a success story of European solidarity
The PES Network recently concluded its third cycle of peer benchlearning assessments of Public Employment Services (PES) in Europe. These assessments have fed directly into mutual learning activities aiming to build the capacity and performance of PES where they need it most for improving customer service delivery. Held in the context of COVID-19, the latest cycle has demonstrated tremendous solidarity amongst PES.

Kommission fordert massive Impulse für digitale Bildung und die Vermittlung digitaler Kompetenzen
Die Kommission hat zwei Vorschläge für eine Empfehlung des Rates angenommen, mit denen die digitale Kluft überwunden werden soll, indem die Vermittlung digitaler Kompetenzen verbessert und der allgemeine Zugang zu inklusiver und hochwertiger digitaler allgemeiner und beruflicher Bildung sichergestellt wird. Die Vorschläge gehen auf das Pilotprojekt „Europäisches Zertifikat für digitale Kompetenzen“ zurück, das die Anerkennung der Zertifizierung digitaler Kompetenzen in der gesamten EU erleichtern wird.
