Europäische Strategie für Pflege und Betreuung – ein Jahr nach der Annahme
Vor einem Jahr stellte die Europäische Kommission die Europäische Strategie für Pflege und Betreuung vor. Ein Jahr danach wurden mehrere Maßnahmen auf den Weg gebracht, um hochwertige leistbare und zugängliche Pflegedienste zu gewährleisten und die Situation der Pflege- und Betreuungsanbieter zu verbessern. Dies geschah in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den Mitgliedstaaten, den Sozialpartnern und Stakeholdern.

Kommission schlägt Europäischen Behindertenausweis und Parkausweis mit Gültigkeit in allen Mitgliedstaaten vor
Die Europäische Kommission hat heute die Einführung eines Europäischen Behindertenausweises sowie die Parkausweis mit Gültigkeit in allen Mitgliedstaaten vorgeschlagen. Beide Karten werden in der gesamten EU anerkannt und erleichtern es Menschen mit Behinderungen, durch die Europäische Union zu reisen.

More than 2,500 persons with disabilities contribute to the European Disability Card initiative
3,361 persons replied to the public consultation feeding into preparation of the Commission’s legislative proposal for a European Disability Card to be recognised by all Member States. 2,632 respondents were persons with disabilities.

Access to essential services: key challenges for the most vulnerable – report
According to the Commission’s report, people at risk of poverty or social exclusion in the EU have difficulties in accessing essential services such as energy, transport and digital communication. The report, the first-ever on this issue, sheds light on the structural challenges these groups face in using such services and underlines the need to ensure that the society-wide green and digital twin transition is fair and inclusive.
