The Urban Water Agenda 2030 process acknowledges the essential role of cities in water resources management. It is an initiative to encourage, support and enable local governments and their water utilities to take voluntary action for complementing Member States' efforts to meet EU water policy.
This two-day major high-level event of the European Commission will bring together key stakeholders from European, national and local levels to debate the progress of the Urban agenda for the EU, the urban dimension of the Cohesion Policy as well as the EU response to the urban dimension of the 2030 Agenda and the New Urban Agenda.

Lively discussion and useful inputs at the first public workshop of the Urban Partnership for Air Quality that took place in London's City Hall on June 13. 60 stakeholders from all over Europe gathered for the Partnership's Workshop where the preliminary results of the Partnership were presented by the Partners who later engaged in an inspiring debate with the audience.

This criticism has often been applied to policies regarding immigration and the integration of newcomers to European societies.
On 25 and 26 April 2017, the 2nd meeting of the Partnership on Circular Economy was held in Brussels. The aim of the meeting was to look closer at two out of four themes of the Partnership, namely: Circular business enablers and drivers (including following topics: Circular Public Procurement, Eco-design, Industrial symbiosis & Innovative business models – sharing economy); and Governance.

Under Action 11 and 12, participating cities have developed and implemented numerous outcomes, such as livings labs on merging digital technologies, funding mechanisms, among many others. To create a consolidated picture of all of these outcomes, an expert reviewed the Actions and developed recommendations for the implementation of future Partnerships.
