A new Action Plan of the Innovative and responsible public procurement Partnership has been endorsed as a continuation of its work. 3 new Actions have been chosen, focusing on a procurers platform and reflection board, achieving EU Green Deal goals by using public procurement and innovation as strategic instruments and Sustainable economic recovery through public procurement. The Partnership has decided to continue its activities and the partners are currently working on developing new Actions and a new Action Plan which will guide the work of the Partnership in the coming period. Read about their new proposed Actions here.
The case studies on the impact of COVID-19 on public procurement practices were commissioned by the Urban Agenda for EU Partnership on Public Procurement, with the aim of examining to what extent (if at all) European cities changed their public procurement approach as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. On 21 and 22 January 2019, the 8th meeting of the Public Procurement Partnership took place in Haarlem, the Netherlands. This meeting had several important tasks: to make concrete agreements about the further implementation of the Action within the action team, and to formulate the deliverables per action and specify the expert days’ request for the period February-May 2019.
