The first newsletter of 2018 brings you exciting news about the latest developments on the Urban Agenda for the EU.

Do you want to be part of the future of EU cohesion policy? Then have a look at the European Commission’s public consultation on EU funds in the area of cohesion. It is aimed at all citizens and cohesion stakeholders in Europe. The goal is multiple: to assess what worked well in the past, to identify the areas for improvement in the future, and to make comprehensive proposals for the post-2020 Multiannual Financial Framework. Have your say and fill in the survey here!

The twelve Partnerships of the Urban Agenda for the EU are currently working full speed to fulfill their New Year’s Resolutions. All pilot Partnerships (Air Quality, Housing, Inclusion of Migrants & Refugees, Urban Poverty) will complete the presentation of their Action Plans before summer.

Following their footsteps, the Partnerships dealing with Circular Economy, Digital Transition and Urban Mobility will launch their Public Feedbacks on 6 February. A dedicated newsletter will inform about the draft Action Plans and Public Feedback very soon.

The four Partnerships that started their work in mid-2017 (Climate AdaptationEnergy Transition, Public ProcurementSustainable Use of Land and Nature based Solutions) have made their Orientation Papers available online.

A number of events in relation with the 12 priority themes of the Pact of Amsterdam are coming up. Be sure to seize the day and follow up on Futurium

If you want to stay tuned on the progress of the Urban Agenda, please sign up to the European Commission’s Futurium platform and follow the Partnerships you are most interested in. You can also contribute to the Urban Agenda for the EU by sharing practices or comments and by getting involved in the Public Feedback to come.
