Expenditure on Labour Market Policies, 2005 - Issue number 45/2008 - Products Statistics in Focus

The present publication shows public expenditure on Labour Market Policies (LMP) across the EU-27 in 2005. LMP expenditure includes the costs of services for jobseekers provided by the public employment services (LMP services), the cost of active interventions such as training and employment incentives to help the unemployed and other target groups (LMP measures) as well as passive supports (LMP supports), which mostly refer to unemployment benefits.
