Causes of death in the EU - Issue number 10/2006 - Products Statistics in Focus

This publication presents an analysis of the main causes of death by age group throughout the EU and the observed related differences between Member States. An overview of the characteristics of the mortality for all causes together at the national level is also given. Lastly, a specific study on the deaths of European residents due to the tsunami of December 2004 in South-East Asia is provided in this Statistics in focus.
