Lifelong learning in Europe - Issue number 8/2005 - Products Statistics in Focus

Education and training rank among the highest political priorities for the Member States of the European Union. Almost half of the EU population aged 25-64 years participated in some form of education, training or learning activity over the twelve months preceding the survey, as shown in the results produced in the framework of the Community Labour Force Survey 2003.
