This Manual on regional accounts is an update of the two methodological booklets of 1996. In addition it includes the modifications introduced by the ESA 2010. The most important modifications concern the treatment of production units without significant labour input or without a fixed location, the calculation of GDP for extra-regio territories, and the compilation of volume growth rates of regional GVA. The manual is particularly addressed to compliers but also to the major users of regional accounts data.
