Europe in Figures: Destatis website on EU data - European Statistical System (ESS)
The Federal Statistical Office of Germany (Destatis) has just released its focus website on EU data (Europe in Figures) in English. The original site (Europa in Zahlen) went online about one year ago.
From now on all content will be released in both languages.
Europe in Figures offers access to Eurostat data by country and by theme. Destatis also regularly publishes articles highlighting interesting Eurostat data with a particular focus on how Germany compares with the rest of the EU. Recent topics included minimum wages (recently introduced in Germany), energy imports and organic agriculture. The website also offers quick access to Eurostat's publications and press releases and detailed information about the European Statistical System.
