5th 2018 BDCM Workshop - European Statistical System (ESS)

5th International Workshop on Business Data Collection Methodology - Lisbon 2018

The 2018 BDCM Workshop will be held on September 19-21, 2018 in Lisbon and will be hosted by Statistics Portugal, in cooperation with Statistics Netherlands, the University of Ljubljana, Statistics Norway and the US Census Bureau.

The workshop offers an informal and interactive setting for methodologists and practitioners of statistical agencies and universities with hands on experience in business data collection in a broad sense. The goal is to exchange information and learn from each other. Research papers, but even more importantly research in progress, emerging issues, unanswered questions, hands-on experience, mistakes and pitfalls can be discussed. It also aims for the development of current best practices and increase of expertise.

The maximum number of participants is set to 50, with a maximum of two representatives per organization. Participants are requested to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements. There is no registration fee, but the registration is mandatory for all participants and is available here
