On the occasion of the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, which takes place each year on 17 October, Eurostat has updated its data visualisation on ‘At risk of poverty and social exclusion’. It now contains the latest data for 2016.
The visualisation will help you to quickly identify the percentage of the population in your country that is at risk of poverty or social exclusion. Data is also available separately for women, children, employed persons and more. Using the bar chart, you easily compare the situation in your country with other European countries.
