The concentration of men and women in sectors of activity - Issue number 53/2007 - Products Statistics in Focus

This publication, based on data from the Labour Force Survey, analyses the concentration of men and women in sectors of activity. Women are more concentrated than men in a few sectors of activity. Six sectors (defined at NACE 2-digit level) employed over 60% of all women in work in 2005. For men the six most important sectors employed only 42%.
