Production in construction down by 2.5% in the euro area and by 2.0% in the EU

In December 2022 compared with November 2022, seasonally adjusted production in the construction sector decreased by 2.5% in the euro area and by 2.0% the EU, according to first estimates from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union. In November 2022, production in construction fell by 0.1% in the euro area and rose by 0.1% in the EU.
