Summary

In October 2022, the euro area seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate was 6.5%, down from 6.6% in September 2022 and from 7.3% in October 2021. The EU unemployment rate was 6.0% in October 2022, down from 6.1% in September 2022 and from 6.6% in October 2021. These figures are published by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.
