Correspondence tables
Correspondence tables are important tools for comparing statistical data collected and presented using different classifications. 2 types of correspondence tables exist:
- correspondence tables between different versions of the same classification describe the detailed changes that have taken place in the revision process;
- correspondence tables between 2 different classifications show the relationship between all positions of the two classifications involved.
As NACE is used for the collection and presentation of statistics in many areas, there is a strong need for correspondence tables between the current NACE and its previous version as well as NACE and other classifications.
