Legal framework for European statistics - The Statistical Law - Products Statistical Books

The European Statistical System (ESS) has to provide policy makers as well as the general public within the European Union with high quality statistics. A basic legal framework, taking the form of a Regulation on European statistics, has been established in order to ensure the efficient functioning of the ESS for that purpose.
