National Parliament opinions and Commission replies

The role of the national Parliaments in the EU law-making process is described here. They can issue opinions on the Commission’s legislative and political initiatives or policies. By clicking on each country in the map, you will have access to the opinions that the respective national Parliament has issued on Commission documents and to the Commission’s replies. Although on 1 February 2020 the UK ceased to be a member of the EU, this website will continue to display the opinions of the UK Parliament and the Commission's replies issued before the UK withdrawal.
