Prizes

Inducement prizes are used to spur innovation by setting a concrete, ambitious target without specifying the path to reach it. They aim at stimulating new forms of collaboration to deliver a cutting-edge solution.

In the Work Programme 2014-2015 of Horizon 2020 the Inducement prizes are implemented by two measures:

• Calls for inducement prizes: calling directly for participating in a prize contest.
• Coordination and Support Actions (CSA): calling for organisations that assist the Commission on the definition and implementation of Inducement Prizes.
