EIT Awareness Day in Poland

The Polish National Contact Point for Research Programmes of the EU and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) are organising an ‘EIT Awareness Day’ in Warsaw, with the aim to raise awareness of the EIT Community, its activities and, in particular, of cooperation opportunities among relevant national stakeholders. Developing digital industrial platforms - info session for applicants for EU-funding

On 10 September 2018, the European Commission will offer a web-based information session on the topics for which a call for proposals is currently open: agricultural digital integration platforms, smart and healthy living at home, interoperable and smart homes and grids, horizontal activities. Application for funding closes on 14 November 2018.

3rd Virtual Physiological Human Summer School

The Virtual Physiological Human (VPH) Summer School offers keynote lectures of world-class international researchers and hands-on training on computer modelling. ACTIVAGE at IoT Week 2018

During IoT Week 2018, the EU-funded ACTIVAGE Large Scale Pilot will present its vision and achievements regarding Internet of Things for active and healthy ageing (AHA-IoT). AgriResearch Conference - Innovating for the future of farming and rural communities

The EU AgriResearch Conference assembled over 500 people scientists, farmers, rural communities, industry, advisors, policy-makers, citizens and NGO representatives who wished to learn about EU agriculture and rural R&I activities and achievements and have their say on how to shape the future of agriculture R&I after 2020. The role of thematic networks in EU agricultural innovation

Over 20 thematic networks are or have been funded under Horizon 2020 to bridge the gap between research and practice in agriculture. They cover a broad range of issues from disease management to value chains and are a cornerstone of the EIP-AGRI. This workshop will give, in a compact and interactive way, insights in dynamics and results of these networks.

 
Interactive innovation in action – Multi-Actor projects learning from each other

The concept of “multi-actor approach”, a practical translation of the interactive innovation, has been introduced for the first time in the Horizon 2020 work programme 2014-2015 under the Societal challenge addressing agriculture and forestry. Since then, over 80 projects have been selected. The European Commission organised a workshop to trigger interaction and exchange of best practices between these projects’ coordinators and produce interesting recommendations for the future.
