Register for WIRE 2018: The Power of Connectivity, Entrepreneurship and Science & Research

The Week of Innovative Regions in Europe (WIRE) conferences are among the main European policy fora for innovation and regional development. The 9th edition will take place on 4-6 July 2018 in Innsbruck, Austria and will look into three smart choices for regional ecosystems of innovation: Science & Research, Entrepreneurship and Connectivity.

It will showcase concrete examples of well-functioning R&I ecosystem and will inspire new practices to stimulate it. WIRE is financed under the Spreading Excellence and Widening Participation part of Horizon 2020-work programme and brings together regional, national and European innovation experts and stakeholders, including public organisations, policymakers, research communities and enterprises.

The conference will be organised during the first week of the Austrian EU Council Presidency, and in vicinity to the proposals for the next generation of EU instruments. As such it will contribute to the important task for all potential actors in H2020’s work programme to be connected, spread R&I excellence and connect regions and people.
