Economic activities and their pressure on the environment 1995-2001 - Issue number 2/2006 - Products Statistics in Focus

This Statistics in Focus presents the National Accounting Matrix including Environmental Accounts (NAMEA). This is a conceptual tool that links conventional national accounts and environmental accounts. This means that NAMEA jointly presents environmental and economic data broken down by industry and household categories. The main goal of the current publication is to present as an example the analysis of CO2 emissions from the NAMEA for the time period 1995-2001. The year 2000 has been selected for a detailed analysis by industry because the data coverage was better than for 2001.
