Out now: statistics for 2023 migration & asylum report

Eurostat has just released the statistical annex to the 2023 Annual report on migration and asylum, co-produced by Eurostat and the European Migration Network (EMN), which provides unique insights on the most significant migration and asylum-related developments in the year. The annex contains an overview of relevant migration-related statistics.
The first part of the annex includes statistics for the EU and Norway, covering the period between 2020 and 2023 and 10 thematic areas: legal migration and mobility, international protection including asylum, temporary protection, unaccompanied minors, integration, citizenship and statelessness, borders, Schengen and visas, irregular migration, trafficking in human beings, return and readmission.
The second part consists of complementary national data collected by Eurostat and provided by EMN National Contact Points (NCPs). This segment includes data on the trafficking of human beings, visa policies and unaccompanied minors and other vulnerable groups.
