Population of the Czech Republic - European Statistical System (ESS)

The Czech Statistical Office released two publications on population statistics this week:

- Population of the Czech Republic - 1st quarter of 2017

Preliminary data on natural increase and migration of the population from beginning of the year.

- Demografie, Review for Population Research - No. 2/2017

The only professional demographic journal in the Czech Republic with a long-standing tradition. Topical articles, analyses and surveys of population development in the Czech Republic and abroad. Data on marriage, divorce, birth, death, abortion rates and migration. Analysis of population processes. The Journal is published quarterly.

As of 2011 three issues are in Czech (articles are accompanied by abstracts and summarie in English) and one issue in English. The journal is registered in the List of Czech non-impact peer-reviewed periodical and in the citation database of peer-reviewed literature Scopus.
