This Eurostat's publication highlights the regional disparities within European Union for: water resources use, waste water treatment and for municipal and hazardous waste management. In a first part, available regional data are analysed and presented country per country. Then, comparison of the environment is made between European regions. The publication focuses on the relevant regional disparities within EU and explains them as much as possible.
