Annual Report on Migration and Asylum 2022 – Statistical annex – June 2023

This statistical annex to the 2022 Annual Report on Migration and Asylum, produced by the European Migration Network (EMN), provides an overview of relevant migration-related statistics. Eurostat prepared the first part of the annex that compiles European statistics for the EU and Norway. This part is structured in ten thematic areas: legal migration and mobility, temporary protection, international protection, unaccompanied minors, integration, citizenship and statelessness, borders, Schengen and visas, irregular migration, trafficking in human beings, return and readmission. The second part of the annex consists of complementary national data provided by EMN National Contact Points.
The EMN Annual Report on Migration and Asylum, that focuses on new legislative and policy measures introduced in 2022, was prepared on the basis of annual National Reports on Migration and Asylum from 29 EMN NCPs (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Georgia, Republic of Moldova and Armenia).
