The average woman in the EU can expect to live 83.3 years. She starts school* at the age of 6 and leaves the parental home at the age of 25.1. She has her first child at the age of 28.9 and has, on average, 1.58 children.

She has completed tertiary education, is employed and works 39.3 hours per week, earning on average 16.2% less than men. She retires at the age of 58.8.
