The Structural Business Statistics (SBS) represents the most complete source of data on business in the European Union. The SBS provide information about most aspects of enterprise activity on a detailed breakdown of economic sector. The purpose of the publication is to increase knowledge and understanding of employment and business related issues across the European Union. The publication presents a fairly complete and coherent picture on, for example, the scale of business output and employment in different parts of the Union.
