With the support of the 2010 European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion, and by way of marking the thirtieth anniversary of the French priority education policies, the INRP is pleased to announce an international conference on the policies and measures for combating educational inequality and exclusion and their future.
The conference will present (among other things) the recent findings of the EuroPEP study, which provides a comparative analysis of equivalent policies in eight European countries. The purpose of the conference is to discuss the current state of knowledge about these policies and the key issues they seek to resolve, to initiate a debate on these issues and to promote discussion among scholars, actors and decision-makers on the newly emerging dynamics in this area, both in Europe and beyond.
