European Conference: Tackling Poverty and Social Exclusion with Education for Democratic Citizenship and Human Rights in Adult Learning

This conference aims at bringing together ~ 100 European Educators from the field of non formal adult education in order to exchange educational knowledge and share practice in civic and human rights educational work for social excluded/disadvantaged people from various european countries. DARE - the european network for democracy and human rights education - will use the opportunity of the European Year for combating Poverty and Social Exclusion to raise awareness among adult educators from all over Europe for the educational tasks connected to tackle poverty and social exclusion as well as communicate the work and needs being done in this section of non formal adult education towards the level of the European Union. The conference is also the starting point for various NGO activities in Education for Democratic Citizenship and Human Rights all over Europe.
