Le Fonds européen d'ajustement à la mondialisation débloque 5,4 millions d'euros pour soutenir 801 travailleurs licenciés dans les secteurs du transport aérien et de l'entreposage de marchandises en Sardaigne
La Commission européenne propose aujourd'hui de soutenir plus de 800 travailleurs licenciés en Sardaigne (Italie). Ces licenciements concernent 611 anciens travailleurs d'Air Italy et 190 anciens travailleurs de Porto Canale à Cagliari, qui ont perdu leur emploi à la suite de restructurations et de la mondialisation.

The consultation hearing on 22 October provided the social partners information about the preparation of the proposal for a Council Recommendation on the social and labour aspects of the just transition towards climate neutrality. The consultation also gathered their suggestions and opinions on the possible content.

Commission launches the dialogue with European social partners on a review of the EU sectoral social dialogue
On 21 October, the European Commission hosted its first technical seminar focusing on social partners’ contribution to policy making. It forms part of the review aiming to support the EU sectoral social dialogue to better embrace challenges in the world of work, such as digitalisation and new forms of work.
