ESF+ project in Denmark prevents early school leaving
At VUC Storstrøm on Zealand, an educational institution in Denmark, teachers and tutors have been given a new digital tool to help prevent early school leaving. Co-funded by the European Social Fund, the app makes it possible to ask for help anonymously and contribute to improving inclusion.

ESF+ project in Portugal helps reducing the rate of early school leaving
A dual certification courses scheme, funded by the European Social Fund, has helped to considerably reduce the rate of early school leaving in Portugal, which stood at 18.9 % at the beginning of 2014. By the end of 2020, it was 8.9 % – already below the 10 % goal defined by European and national targets set to be achieved in 2023.

Fonds européen d'ajustement à la mondialisation: 2,8 millions d'euros pour soutenir des travailleurs licenciés dans le secteur automobile espagnol
La Commission européenne propose aujourd'hui de soutenir 450 travailleurs ayant perdu leur emploi dans le secteur automobile de la région espagnole de Catalogne à hauteur de 2,8 millions d'euros provenant du Fonds européen d'ajustement à la mondialisation en faveur des travailleurs licenciés (FEM).
