Commission welcomes adoption of Directive on adequate minimum wages
The European Commission welcomes the adoption of the Directive on adequate minimum wages by the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union. Today, the Council gave green light to the file, following the earlier approval in the European Parliament.

European funds help supporting Ukrainians refugees in Italy
The Lazio Region (Italy) is at the forefront of welcoming those fleeing conflict in Ukraine. The Region allocated €10 million of European Social Fund (ESF+) funding thanks to the flexibility allowed under the Cohesion’s Action for Refugees in Europe (CARE) and launched a call for project proposals to promote the integration of people who arrived from the war zone in Ukraine and are now living in the Lazio region.

ESF+ project in Poland helps Ukrainian war refugees
The ‘Lubelskie helps Ukraine’ project assists Ukrainians fleeing the war to help them integrate into Polish society. It is supported by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Cohesion’s Action for Refugees in Europe (CARE).The project provides advice on dealing with everyday life and legal matters, as well as translation and interpretation services. It assists disabled people and provides psychological support to respond to the impact of the war on mental health.
